• Each film coated tablet contains 450 mg of Valganciclovir

Directions For Use: Valgeten 450 mg has to be taken with food

• Valganciclovir 450 mg is a highly effective prodrug used primarily for the prevention & treatment of Cytomegalovirus infection, most notably in kidney transplant recipients or patients with advanced chronic kidney disease or immunosuppression

• A standard adult dose for a patient with normal kidney function (Cr Cl ≥70 mL) is typically 900 mg once daily for prophylaxis or 900 mg twice daily for treatment.​However, because the drug accumulates rapidly as renal function declines, dosing must be strictly tailored to the patient's calculated Creatinine Clearance (CrCl) to avoid profound bone marrow suppression
